The Eta Psi Chapter was re-installed on December 8th, 2012 and we've been advancing ever since. We have a vibrant brotherhood with members from very diverse backgrounds. Choices of undergraduate major range from theatre and business to biology and biomedical engineering. Our alumni have gone onto graduate programs, medical school, and even straight into their field of work.
Our members enjoy a wide range of activities that enhance their university experience, like mixers with sororities, brotherhood events, philanthropy events, and community service initiatives.
Brothers also benefit from chapter assistance in many other ways. Our scholarship program encourages and rewards hard-work and realistic improvement instead of focusing on punishments. In fact, our chapter consistently attains far above the All Men's Average GPA at UAB, which has inspired changes in our scholarship program. With help from our fraternity's headquarters, we also give our brothers valuable life skills, such as how to dress for different occasions, interview/resume prep, financial planning, and forming professional connections.
The skills learned and bonds made by our brothers will follow them for the rest of their lives, and we are proud that it's our main mission.
Yes! Your undergraduate years are just the beginning to your lifetime membership in Theta Chi. Many alumni note that Theta Chi still plays a role in their lives even after graduating. Whether it means catching up with some brothers from your chapter, seeing them at their weddings, or volunteering with the fraternity headquarters, there is still plenty to experience after receiving your bachelor's degree.
Whether you are an alumnus from our chapter or another far way, we would love to get you involved in our chapter! Using our contact page, you can message our President to arrange your attendance at a chapter or CAB meeting. Of course, if time is scarce, you can always leave a monetary donation using our form below.
Also consider making a donation to the International Headquarters. Theta Chi funds many different programs, like graduate/undergraduate scholarships, and leadership seminars that are free of cost for brothers to attend.
